“From volume to value: big data, regional empowerment and value chain networks in a Mediterranean perspective”
Emilia-Romagna Region is working to create an international platform for innovation, big data and supercomputing to support knowledge, skills and infrastructures for a new stable employment and enhancement of the territories of Southern and Mediterranean Europe in particular. The Italian Region is setting-up a Big Data Hub in Bologna, where the presence of computing infrastructures and skills capable of handling huge amounts of data will be made available for the development of the entire Mediterranean and Adriatic Ionian area.
For this reason, it is organising the event “From volume to value: Big data, Regional empowerment and value chain networks in a Mediterranean perspective” that will take place in Bologna next 18 December. The meeting will be opened to the representatives of 13 partner countries of the PANORAMED project, the members of the MED monitoring committee, as well as the members of the CPMR Intermediterranean Commission (IMC) and Balkans & Black Sea Commission (BBSC).
