The event took place on 17-18 October in Barcelona (Spain)
The Innovation Camp, organised by Catalonia Region as the Leader of PANORAMED Working Group on Innovation, brought together PANORAMED partners and experts, representatives from Associate partners (BlueMed, EUSAIR, ENI CBC Med, Interact), Interreg MED communities (GreenGrowth and BlueGrowth), MED programmes (Interreg MED Joint Secretariat, ADRION) and other innovation stakeholders.
Over the course of two days, they debated and made proposals on how PANORAMED can contribute to improving governance, and what could be the impact of innovation financed by EU funds in the Mediterranean region. PANORAMED’s preliminary results on gaps and growth opportunities for innovation policies were presented, as well as potential initiatives for capitalizing the Interreg project’s results and increasing cooperation among programmes in the Mediterranean. After plenary sessions, debates continued in smaller working groups covering more concrete topics.
